Meet the Doctors & Staff at IPM New Lenox
New Lenox chiropractor Dr. Scott J. Kenny is a co-owner, clinic director, and a treating physician at the IPM New Lenox office.
Dr. Scott received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology and a Chemistry minor from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa in 2001. He then obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic and second Bachelor’s of Science degree in Human Biology from National University of Health Sciences located in Lombard, Illinois in 2004.
While attending Loras College, Dr. Scott was a member of a NCAA nationally ranked wrestling team. Since that time, and while practicing at a past clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada, he taught classes in Phlebotomy, Anatomy and Physiology, and Kinesiology.
He is the acting sports team physician for many local youth sports (football, wrestling, rugby). Dr. Scott is listed on the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP) Concussion Registry as a healthcare provider who has successfully completed the ACBSP Concussion Registry Course (Concussion Course) and is therefore qualified to evaluate, diagnose, and manage concussed individuals in any patient population. He is also a certified body fat assessor through the IHSA and therefore able to test and assist Illinois high school wrestlers in safe and healthy weight loss.
Dr. Scott has also achieved post graduate certifications as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP), a National Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and as a Fellow, International Academy Medical Acupuncture (FIAMA). He has also taken multiple courses in dry needling, kinesiology taping, and he has started three year post graduate Diplomate programs in Sports and Orthopaedics.
He has a daughter named Sienna and son named Knox. His hobbies include nutrition, CrossFit, weight training, exercise, and wrestling.
New Lenox chiropractor Dr. Jon M. Polcyn is a co-owner, clinic director, and is a treating physician at the IPM Joliet office.
Dr. Jon received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in PreMed Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He obtained a second bachelors in Human Biology and Doctorate of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences located in Lombard, Illinois in 2005.
Dr. Jon has done done extensive postgraduate training in orthopedics, sports medicine, rehabilitation, kinesiotaping, soft-tissue mobilization and management. He is a firm believer in combining chiropractic and rehabilitation to provide rapid pain alleviation that also can be maintained by the patient long after in office care has ceased.
Dr. Jon is the acting team physician for the Plainfield Prowlers, Plainfield Saints, the Plainfield Athletic Club and the Illinois Hawks.
Dr. Jon is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys camping, hiking, boating, skiing, fishing, hunting, and just about any outdoor activities.
New Lenox chiropractor Dr. Josh Eldrenkamp is a treating physician at the IPM New Lenox office.
Dr. Josh received his Bachelor's of Science degree in Pre-Medicine and Biology from Augustana College. He obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences from Lombard, Illinois in 2012.
Dr. Josh is currently working toward his certification in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis (MDT). MDT is another tool for physicians and physical therapists to use in order to better diagnose and treat patients with neck and back pain. Dr. Josh has also taken courses in kinesiotaping technique and acupuncture.
Dr. Josh was a college football and rugby player. In his free time, Dr. Josh enjoys hanging out with his friends and family, going to concerts, and playing softball.
He also acts as one of the sports team physicians for the Lincoln Way Patriots semi-professional football team and the Manhattan Patriots youth football team. Dr. Josh is also on the coaching staff of the South Suburban Cobras rugby team.
New Lenox chiropractor Dr. Mary Kikilas is a treating physician at the IPM New Lenox office.
Dr. Mary received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Health Science with minors in both Biology and Health from Bradley University. Dr. Mary obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic in December of 2017 from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois.
Dr. Mary completed her certification in acupuncture in January of 2017. She has completed all courses required for certification in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis (MDT). Dr. Mary has also taken courses in kinesiotaping and movement assessment.
In her spare time, Dr. Mary enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out at the gym, running, and spending time outdoors.
As the New Lenox location Office Manager, Vanessa Kenny manages the day-to-day operations of the front desk and is responsible for billing/collections. Prior to working at IPM Vanessa worked in sales and at the front desk of another chiropractic and physical therapy clinic.
Vanessa was a division one cross country athlete at Eastern Illinois and still has a passion for running. She is the founder, organizer, and coach of the IPM Racing Team. Vanessa and her team participate in several local 5K and 10K races throughout the spring, summer, and early fall. Her personal record for a marathon was set at the Chicago Marathon in 2013 (3:02).
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, fashion, running, and nutrition.
Jennifer Prokop joined the Integrated Physical Medicine team in June of 2012 as the Front Desk Patient Coordinator. She now acts as the Front Desk Manager. Jennifer is responsible for daily operations and administrative tasks. After graduating from Peotone High School in 2003 Jennifer took some classes in business management. Prior to joining the team Jennifer held various positions in the banking industry for seven years.
Jennifer was a patient prior to becoming employed at IPM and she has been more than a positive contributor since that time. She now has a better understanding of how chiropractic care and physical therapy treatment can be life changing and looks forward to educating others and showing them what IPM can do for them. In her spare time, Jennifer likes hanging out with friends and family, outdoor activities, running, exercising, and learning about nutrition.
New Lenox athletic trainer Kelsey Lafin, ATC grew up in Crestwood, IL and attended Victor J. Andrew High School in Tinley Park, IL. From the time that she was little, Kelsey was always involved with sports, which appealed her to the path of becoming an athletic trainer.
She graduated from Lewis University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in athletic training. She is NATA BOC Certified, a licensed athletic trainer, and certified in first aid and CPR.
Kelsey acts as the head athletic trainer for the New Lenox Youth Football Association Jr. Warriors. She also assists in covering games for the Lincoln Way Patriots semi-professional football team, the Lincoln Way Wrestling Club, and the South Suburban Cobras rugby teams.
When she is not working, Kelsey enjoys spending time with family and friends, and staying active by going to the gym, and participating in recreational volleyball leagues.
New Lenox athletic trainer Brad Foster ATC, grew up and currently lives in New Lenox, Illinois. He attended Lincoln-Way Central High School and graduated in 2012. He then attended Lewis University on a full-ride scholarship to play basketball. Brad played all four years, winning the conference championship his senior year and set the school record for highest field goal percentage in a single season. H graduated form Lewis University in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in athletic training and a minor in natural sciences.
Brad is a NATA BOC Certified as a licensed athletic trainer and is also certified in first aid and CPR. He currently acts as one of the athletic trainers for the Lincoln Way Patriots semi-professional football team, the Lincoln Way Wrestling Club, the South Suburban Cobras rugby teams. He is the head athletic trainer for the New Lenox Youth Football Association Jr. Knights.
When not working he enjoys attending concerts, playing basketball, seeing movies, playing video games and spending time with his family.
New Lenox athletic trainer Amanda Hozzian, ATC grew up in New Lenox, Illinois and attended Lincoln Way West High School.
Amanda did her undergraduate studies at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin earning a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training. While at Carthage she was a part of the women's basketball team. She graduated in May of 2017.
Amanda is NATA BOC certified and licensed athletic trainer as well as CPR and first aid certified. She started working at IPM in August of 2017. Amanda has worked as the athletic trainer for the Manhattan Patriots youth football teams, the Lincoln Way Patriots semi-professional football team, the Lincoln Way Wrestling Club, and the South Suburban Cobras rugby teams.
When she is not working she loves hanging with family and friends and working out.
