Dr.Scott J. KennyChiropractor
New Lenox chiropractor Dr. Scott J. Kenny is a co-owner, clinic director, and a treating physician at the IPM New Lenox office.
Dr. Scott received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology and a Chemistry minor from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa in 2001. He then obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic and second Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from the National University of Health Sciences located in Lombard, Illinois in 2004.
While attending Loras College, Dr. Scott was a member of an NCAA nationally ranked wrestling team. Since that time, and while practicing at a past clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada, he taught classes in Phlebotomy, Anatomy and Physiology, and Kinesiology.
He is the acting sports team physician for many local youth sports (football, wrestling, rugby). Dr. Scott has listed on the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP) Concussion Registry as a healthcare provider who has successfully completed the ACBSP Concussion Registry Course (Concussion Course) and is, therefore, qualified to evaluate, diagnose, and manage concussed individuals in any patient population. He is also a certified body fat assessor through the IHSA and therefore able to test and assist Illinois high school wrestlers in safe and healthy weight loss.
Dr. Scott has also achieved post-graduate certifications as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP), a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and as a Fellow, International Academy Medical Acupuncture (FIAMA). He has taken multiple courses in dry needling, kinesiology taping, and he has started three-year post-graduate Diplomate programs in Sports and Orthopaedics. He has also started training towards certification in the McKenzie Method of mechanical diagnosis and therapy (MDT).
He has a daughter named Sienna and a son named Knox. His hobbies include nutrition, CrossFit, weight training, exercise, and wrestling.
Dr.Jon M. PolcynChiropractor
Naperville chiropractor Dr. Jon M. Polcyn is a co-owner, clinic director, and is a treating physician at the IPM Naperville office.
Dr. Jon received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in PreMed Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He obtained a second bachelor's in Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences located in Lombard, Illinois in 2005.
Dr. Jon has done extensive postgraduate training in orthopedics, sports medicine, rehabilitation, kinesiotaping, soft-tissue mobilization, and management. He is a firm believer in combining chiropractic and rehabilitation to provide rapid pain alleviation that also can be maintained by the patient long after in-office care has ceased.
Dr. Jon is the acting team physician for the Plainfield Prowlers, Plainfield Saints, the Plainfield Athletic Club, and the Illinois Hawks.
Dr. Jon is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys camping, hiking, boating, skiing, fishing, hunting, and just about any outdoor activities.
Dr. Michael HallChiropractor
New Lenox chiropractor Dr. Michael Hall is a treating physician at the IPM New Lenox office.
Dr. Mike received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Chemistry from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois.He then went on to study at Life University, the largest Chiropractic school in the country, in Marietta, Georgia, and received his Doctorate ofChiropractic in 2014.
Growing up on the baseball fields in New Lenox, Illinois, Dr. Mike has always had a passion for the game of baseball. This led him, after receiving his Bachelor’s degree, to take a job with Major League Baseball and the Toronto Blue Jays organization. He had the opportunity to work as a strength and conditioning coach in the minor league system for three years. This was an amazing experience that allowed Dr. Mike to travel allover the country, and work with professional athletes to the likes of Frank Thomas, Roy Holliday, and J.P. Arencibia.
Dr. Mike has also received post graduate certifications in Functional Movement Screening (FMS), KDT Spinal Decompression, Torque Release Technique (TRT), and Kinesiotaping. He is currently working towards his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
In his free time, Dr. Mike enjoys spending time with his family, anything and everything baseball, and traveling to tropical places.
Vanessa KennyOffice Manager
As the New Lenox location Office Manager, Vanessa Kenny manages the day-to-day operations of the front desk and is responsible for billing/collections. Prior to working at IPM Vanessa worked in sales and at the front desk of another chiropractic and physical therapy clinic.
Vanessa was a division one cross country athlete at Eastern Illinois and still has a passion for running. She is the founder, organizer, and coach of the IPM Racing Team. Vanessa and her team participate in several local 5K and 10K races throughout the spring, summer, and early fall. Her personal record for a marathon was set at the Chicago Marathon in 2013 (3:02).
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, fashion, running, and nutrition.
Jennifer ProkopFront Desk Patient Coordinator
Jennifer Prokop joined the Integrated Physical Medicine team in June of 2012 as the Front Desk Patient Coordinator. She now acts as the Front Desk Manager. Jennifer is responsible for daily operations and administrative tasks. After graduating from Peotone High School in 2003 Jennifer took some classes in business management. Prior to joining the team, Jennifer held various positions in the banking industry for seven years.
Jennifer was a patient prior to becoming employed at IPM and she has been more than a positive contributor since that time. She now has a better understanding of how chiropractic care and physical therapy treatment can be life-changing and looks forward to educating others and showing them what IPM can do for them. In her spare time, Jennifer likes hanging out with friends and family, outdoor activities, running, exercising, and learning about nutrition.
Josie RasmussenATCAthletic Trainer
New Lenox athletic trainer Josie Rasmussen, ATC grew up in DeKalb, Illinois and attended Cornerstone Christian Academy in Sycamore, Illinois. From an early age, Josie has always been involved in a variety of sports and decided to join the sports medicine field after experiencing multiple injuries.
She graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training in 2013. Josie is a NATA BOC certified and licensed athletic trainer. She is the head athletic trainer for the New Lenox Youth Football Association Jr. Warriors and also covers for the South Suburban Cobras rugby teams.
In her free time, Josie enjoys traveling, photography, being active, and spending time with her friends, family, and pets.
Brad FosterATCAthletic Trainer
New Lenox athletic trainer Brad Foster ATC, grew up and currently lives in New Lenox, Illinois. He attended Lincoln-Way Central High School and graduated in 2012. He then attended Lewis University on a full-ride scholarship to play basketball. Brad played all four years, winning the conference championship his senior year and set the school record for highest field goal percentage in a single season. H graduated from Lewis University in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in athletic training and a minor in natural sciences.
Brad is a NATA BOC Certified as a licensed athletic trainer and is also certified in first aid and CPR. He currently acts as one of the athletic trainers for the Lincoln-Way Patriots semi-professional football team, the Lincoln-Way Wrestling Club, the South Suburban Cobras rugby teams. He is the head athletic trainer for the New Lenox Youth Football Association Jr. Knights.
When not working he enjoys attending concerts, playing basketball, seeing movies, playing video games and spending time with his family.
