  • Dr.
    Scott J. Kenny

    New Lenox chiropractor Dr. Scott J. Kenny is a co-owner, clinic director, and a treating physician at the IPM New Lenox office.

    Dr. Scott received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology and a Chemistry minor from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa in 2001.  He then obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic and second Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from the National University of Health Sciences located in Lombard, Illinois in 2004.

    While attending Loras College, Dr. Scott was a member of an NCAA nationally ranked wrestling team.  Since that time, and while practicing at a past clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada, he taught classes in Phlebotomy, Anatomy and Physiology, and Kinesiology.

    He is the acting sports team physician for many local youth sports (football, wrestling, rugby).  Dr. Scott has listed on the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP) Concussion Registry as a healthcare provider who has successfully completed the ACBSP Concussion Registry Course (Concussion Course) and is, therefore, qualified to evaluate, diagnose, and manage concussed individuals in any patient population. He is also a certified body fat assessor through the IHSA and therefore able to test and assist Illinois high school wrestlers in safe and healthy weight loss.

    Dr. Scott has also achieved post-graduate certifications as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP), a National Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and as a Fellow, International Academy Medical Acupuncture (FIAMA).  He has taken multiple courses in dry needling, kinesiology taping, and he has started three-year post-graduate Diplomate programs in Sports and Orthopaedics.  He has also started training towards certification in the McKenzie Method of mechanical diagnosis and therapy (MDT). 

    He has a daughter named Sienna and a son named Knox.  His hobbies include nutrition, CrossFit, weight training, exercise, and wrestling.

    Jon M. Polcyn

    Naperville chiropractor Dr. Jon M. Polcyn is a co-owner, clinic director, and is a treating physician at the IPM Naperville office.

    Dr. Jon received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in PreMed Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  He obtained a second bachelor's in Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences located in Lombard, Illinois in 2005.

    Dr. Jon has done extensive postgraduate training in orthopedics, sports medicine, rehabilitation, kinesiotaping, soft-tissue mobilization, and management.  He is a firm believer in combining chiropractic and rehabilitation to provide rapid pain alleviation that also can be maintained by the patient long after in-office care has ceased.  

    Dr. Jon is the acting team physician for the Plainfield Prowlers, Plainfield Saints, the Plainfield Athletic Club, and the Illinois Hawks.  

    Dr. Jon is an avid outdoorsman.  He enjoys camping, hiking, boating, skiing, fishing, hunting, and just about any outdoor activities.

    Anna Shelest

    New Lenox chiropractor Dr. Anna Shelest is a treating physician at the IPM New Lenox office.

    Dr. Anna received her Bachelor’s of Science degrees in Biology and Health Sciences from Aurora University in Aurora, Illinois. She then went on to study at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois and received her Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2019.

    Dr. Anna had worked in the healthcare field since 2004 and has always known she wanted to help people feel and move better. She pursued her Doctorate of Chiropractic because of a long-term battle with migraines, and soon realized the immense potential of chiropractic care and acupuncture as a means to alleviate her pain and improve her general well-being. She has since taken a special interest in headache disorders and helping her patients overcome such terrible afflictions. 

    In her free time, Dr. Anna enjoys the outdoors, loves to travel, and until she has the time to devote to a dog of her own, she finds every opportunity to assert her love on her friends’ and family’s beloved furballs. 

  • Vanessa Kenny
    Office Manager

    As the New Lenox location Office Manager, Vanessa Kenny manages the day-to-day operations of the front desk and is responsible for billing/collections.  Prior to working at IPM Vanessa worked in sales and at the front desk of another chiropractic and physical therapy clinic.

    Vanessa was a division one cross country athlete at Eastern Illinois and still has a passion for running. She is the founder, organizer, and coach of the IPM Racing Team.  Vanessa and her team participate in several local 5K and 10K races throughout the spring, summer, and early fall.  Her personal record for a marathon was set at the Chicago Marathon in 2013 (3:02).

    In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, fashion, running, and nutrition. 

  • Jennifer Prokop
    Front Desk Patient Coordinator

    Jennifer Prokop joined the Integrated Physical Medicine team in June of 2012 as the Front Desk Patient Coordinator.  She now acts as the Front Desk Manager.  Jennifer is responsible for daily operations and administrative tasks.  After graduating from Peotone High School in 2003 Jennifer took some classes in business management.  Prior to joining the team, Jennifer held various positions in the banking industry for seven years.

    Jennifer was a patient prior to becoming employed at IPM and she has been more than a positive contributor since that time.  She now has a better understanding of how chiropractic care and physical therapy treatment can be life-changing and looks forward to educating others and showing them what IPM can do for them.  In her spare time, Jennifer likes hanging out with friends and family, outdoor activities, running, exercising, and learning about nutrition. 

  • Josie Rasmussen
    Athletic Trainer

    New Lenox athletic trainer Josie Rasmussen, ATC grew up in DeKalb, Illinois and attended Cornerstone Christian Academy in Sycamore, Illinois. From an early age, Josie has always been involved in a variety of sports and decided to join the sports medicine field after experiencing multiple injuries.

    She graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training in 2013. Josie is a NATA BOC certified and licensed athletic trainer. She is the head athletic trainer for the New Lenox Youth Football Association Jr. Warriors and also covers for the South Suburban Cobras rugby teams. 

    In her free time, Josie enjoys traveling, photography, being active, and spending time with her friends, family, and pets.

  • Brad Foster
    Athletic Trainer

    New Lenox athletic trainer Brad Foster ATC, grew up and currently lives in New Lenox, Illinois.  He attended Lincoln-Way Central High School and graduated in 2012.  He then attended Lewis University on a full-ride scholarship to play basketball.  Brad played all four years, winning the conference championship his senior year and set the school record for highest field goal percentage in a single season.  H graduated from Lewis University in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in athletic training and a minor in natural sciences.

    Brad is a NATA BOC Certified as a licensed athletic trainer and is also certified in first aid and CPR.  He currently acts as one of the athletic trainers for the Lincoln-Way Patriots semi-professional football team, the Lincoln-Way Wrestling Club, the South Suburban Cobras rugby teams.  He is the head athletic trainer for the New Lenox Youth Football Association Jr. Knights.

    When not working he enjoys attending concerts, playing basketball, seeing movies, playing video games and spending time with his family.
